Brazy Wickz x CAMH Holiday Mental Health Fundraiser

Brazy Wickz Holiday Fundraiser for Mental Health is an initiative aimed at supporting mental health causes, specifically in partnership with CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health).
CAMH is one of the leading mental health research hospitals based in Toronto, Canada, renowned for its groundbreaking work in understanding, treating, and preventing mental illness.

CAMH offers a wide range of services and support for individuals struggling with mental health issues. This institution provides clinical care, conducts research, educates the public and professionals, and advocates for policies that support those affected by mental health conditions. CAMH caters to a diverse array of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, and other mood and personality disorders.

The services provided by CAMH encompass various forms of treatment, from outpatient and inpatient care to supportive community programs. It operates on a multidisciplinary approach, combining psychiatry, psychology, social work, and other mental health specialties to offer comprehensive care. Additionally, CAMH places a strong emphasis on research, striving to understand the biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to mental health conditions, which in turn informs their treatment strategies.

Did you know that 1 in 5 Canadians experience mental illness in any given year? And that 4,000 Canadians die by suicide every year—almost 11 people per day?

And yet, many don't realize that, in its most severe forms, mental illness can be fatal.

Brazy Wickz Holiday Fundraiser aims to contribute to CAMH's efforts by giving 1$ from every candle sold between November 10 2023- December 31 2023. These funds are to support their programs, research endeavors, and initiatives geared toward enhancing mental health awareness and support services. By partnering with CAMH, the fundraiser endeavors to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by mental health issues and help further the groundbreaking work being done in the field of mental health.
