Wax

Brazy Wickz only uses natural ethically sourced biodegradable soy wax and occasionally natural yellow bees wax. Soy wax is made from extracting oils from the soy bean. This natural wax allows for a clean and softer burn, helping the candle to burn longer then other waxes.

Wicks

3 types of wicks are used throughout all collections offered by Brazy Wickz.

Hemp- Hemp wicks are made from hemp fibers that are made into twine and coated in bees wax. Hemp wick contains no lead or zinc, provides a hotter burn and produces little to no smoke.  Your candles will last longer and the burning experience will be more pleasant. Hemp wicks are environmentally sustainable and are a renewable resource!

HTP- HTP wicks are cotton wicks with braided paper fibres to increase the material's stiffness. They tend to curve somewhat as they burn and have a milder burn (which is ideal for soy). Although they also have the handy ability to trim themselves, it is always a good idea to trim them when necessary.

Wood- While burning, they make a lovely crackling sound. Since a single tree can contain thousands of wicks, wooden wicks are more environmentally friendly than cotton wicks. They burn more evenly and cleanly than cotton wicks and emit a crackling sound reminiscent of a fireplace. Candles with wood wicks emit less soot than those with standard wicks.
